The Chevron Midland Campus consists of two four-story buildings connected by a walkway, a fitness center, a cafeteria, and a central plant, totaling approximately 340,000 square feet. The project also included a precast parking structure for 709 vehicles.  The buildings’ enclosure is a unitized, high-performance curtainwall system. Off-site prefabrication addressed on-site labor challenges due to the deficient in skilled labor caused by the at-time booming oil and gas industry. An under-floor air delivery system serves the buildings to provide a state-of-the-art work environment. The project achieved LEED Gold certification through architect HOK’s sustainable design.
